Wisdom Centre is a tranquil meeting space in the historic market town of Romsey, run as a ministry of the Daughters of Wisdom, Delegation of Britain & Ireland.
Our story
From convent to community hub
For over a century, the Daughters of Wisdom have offered hospitality to the people of Romsey and beyond. Today, Wisdom Centre continues that tradition — able to accommodate and cater for up to 40 guests in our dining room, and welcoming individuals and groups for quiet days, conferences, therapy, counselling and celebration.
Our flame logo gives expression to these roots: the warmth of hospitality, the light of the Spirit, and the spiral path to Wisdom.

Our team
Staff and Sisters
Wisdom Centre is cared for by a small, dedicated team of Sisters and staff who manage hospitality, bookings, maintenance and our wellbeing programme throughout the year. Photographs and introductions are available on request, and the team is always happy to meet prospective visitors before a booking.
